Sea of Thieves Servers Are Down

Sea of Thieves Servers: In Sea of Thieves, Microsoft and Rare have created a popular live-service pirate game that enables players to set sail with their pals to search for hidden riches and battle skeletons. One would expect that weekends are the busiest times for Sea of Thieves, as most people are off work and out of school at this time of the year. Unfortunately, many fans of the game are now unable to play because of some server troubles.

Sea of Thieves Servers: On Saturday, January 8, Sea of Thieves servers were down for hours and are still offline on Sunday, January 9. As early as the afternoon of January 8, Sea of Thieves’ official Twitter account began recognizing issues and informing followers that the situation was being looked into as a priority. Seven hours after that first tweet, the Sea of Thieves Info & Support Twitter account sent out another one with an update on the issue, although it seems like the servers are still offline as of this writing. While attempting to play Sea of Thieves this weekend, Alabasterbeard has been one of the most prevalent error codes seen. Getting the Sea of Thieves Alabasterbeard error basically implies that players can’t go online, thus that’s the error code that’s showing up for everyone. Hope that Rare can figure out what’s wrong and fix it quickly so Sea of Thieves fans can get back into the game. Sea of Thieves Servers

Despite a rocky start, Sea of Thieves has gained a devoted following and its reputation has improved over the years. It’s no surprise that Rare has continued to add new material to the game, including a massive expansion based on the film Pirates of the Caribbean. Sea of Thieves will continue to get new content indefinitely. Sea of Thieves Servers
