Trailers for Resident Evil Village
The initial announcement was followed by a two-minute teaser that offered viewers their first glimpse at the new Resident Evil instalment.
The scary video brings back memories of the iconic fourth title, which debuted on the Nintendo GameCube in 2005.
Several scenes show a tiny village and castle landscape, which is close to Leon’s journey in RE4. The latest video also teases a potential new villain cast, ranging from witch-like vampires to a vicious werewolf. Chris Redfield, a series regular, also makes an appearance.
A second and third teaser will be released in September 2020 and January 2021, respectively. They show us more of Village’s dark, Gothic-looking atmosphere. Over these pictures, an elderly woman with a piercing laugh declares, “In life and in death, we offer glory.” The bell rings for both of us. They’re going back.”
