He said, currently there are 38 laboratories throughout Indonesia that can examine the results of COVID-19 specimens.

“As soon as he (the region) conducts an inspection the results are sent to us at the center. 2. Differences in data from the region occur during contact tracing

After that, Yuri continued, the data was returned to the area to find out contact tracing by the patient. Since then, there has been a difference in data between the central and regional governments.

“Now when tracing he (the area) will find a suspected case, they say ODP, PDP. This data is then confused, so the data are not the same, “he said.

This graduate of the Faculty of Medicine at Airlangga University explained that the central government always refers to data that has been confirmed in the laboratory-based on the results of examinations that have been carried out, not based on estimates.

“For example mortality, our data is based on positive confirmation results. This is a patient who later dies. But in areas where people have died, the lab results have not yet come out, so they end up hesitating for what they die, the easiest to die from COVID. So in the area, two died in the center, one died, “he said.
